What made you choose this course?
I’ve wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember. Seeing the care and compassion nurses showed to my loved ones really stuck with me and inspired me to follow in their footsteps. I knew early on that I wanted a career where I could make a real difference in people’s lives.
Why did you decide to study at Croydon University Centre?
It felt like the perfect choice for me — I could stay close to home while still getting a high-quality education. The course and facilities really stood out, and it just felt like the right fit.
What do you enjoy most about your course?
Definitely the practical side of things. Being able to apply what we learn in real-life scenarios makes it all feel so relevant. Every session is interactive and engaging, which keeps me motivated.
How are you finding the teaching/support?
The support has been amazing. All the lecturers are so approachable and knowledgeable, and you can tell they genuinely want us to succeed. No question ever feels too small, and there’s always someone willing to help if you’re struggling.
Are there any specific goals or career plans you have after completing this course?
After qualifying, I’d love to join the Army as a registered nurse and specialise in emergency care. I’m really passionate about working in high-pressure environments where I can make a real impact.
Would you recommend Croydon University Centre to a future student? If so, why?
I definitely would! It’s such a welcoming and supportive environment. The sense of community is great, and there’s always someone there to help you. It’s a really positive place to study and grow.
