Report + Support

Our main online reporting system allows you to disclose incidents in a safe, confidential environment.

You can:

• – Report anonymously: make a disclosure without providing your identity
• – Request support: speak to a trained Sexual Violence Liaison Officer
• – Choose what to share: decide what information to provide and when
• – Follow up later: even anonymous reports can be followed up if you provide contact details

How to access: Available through the student portal or contact Student Services on 020 8760 5914 for help accessing the system.

Emergency Situations:

If you’re in immediate danger or sexual assault has just occurred:

• On campus: Call Client Care immediately on ……
• Off campus: Call 999 for immediate police response
• Medical emergency: Call 999 for ambulance services

Other Ways to Report

If you prefer not to use the online portal, you can also report through:

• Safeguarding Team : Phone 07970 393393 or email safeguarding@croydon.ac.uk
• Student Support Advisor: Book through Well-being Centre
• Your Personal Tutor or Programme Leader: They will refer you to appropriate support
• Any academic staff member: All staff are trained to receive disclosures
• External agencies: Police, local authority, or other relevant authorities

Anonymous Reporting

We welcome anonymous reports and will act on them where possible. While we cannot investigate anonymous reports in the same way as those with contact details, we can:

• Use information to identify patterns of behaviour
• Take preventative measures like increased security or awareness campaigns
• Provide general support information if anonymous contact details are given.
• Keep information on file in case similar reports are received
