Studying in Croydon means socialising in Croydon and you’ll be able to enjoy unique opportunities to eat in the local cafes, restaurants and street vendors showcasing Croydon’s diverse communities. There are plenty of venues to choose from both on-site, including the Urban Deli, and surrounding areas such as Boxpark, which is located opposite our campus.
The Urban Deli is our onsite refectory that provides a fantastic variety of food choices and great value for money, regularly featuring speciality cuisines such as Indian, Thai and Spanish. The Urban Deli is open term times from 08.30am to 2.30pm. Should you have any dietary requirements, please speak to a member of the catering team who will be happy to help.
Vending machines are also available throughout our campus, offering a range of drinks, snacks and confectionary.
University centre students have exclusive access to the HE Common Room where you can meet and socialise with friends in a relaxing environment. It has comfortable seating and is equipped with kitchenette facilities including a fridge and microwaves to store and reheat food. The HE Common Room has plenty of powerpoints to recharge laptops, devices and phones.
There are a quiet study spaces located just outside third floor classrooms where students can use powerpoints and desks to study when not in lectures.
Additionally, our university centre is conveniently located within walking distance to Boxpark and the town centre. Located almost directly opposite the campus is a range of cafes, bars and restaurants including popular chains and bespoke independent outlets catering for individual dietary needs.
