Foundation Learning at Croydon University Centre is designed for anyone who wants to study for a degree but doesn’t yet have the qualifications, subject knowledge or confidence to begin university-level study. Whether you are progressing from Level 3, returning to education later in life or looking to change your career direction, our programmes offer the perfect stepping stone to help you reach your goals.
Our Foundation Year of Access to Higher Education Diplomas prepare you for the academic expectations of university. These programmes bridge the gap between previous education and higher-level study by developing essential skills, strengthening subject understanding and building confidence in a supportive environment. They are ideal for students who want a structured route into a full degree.
Access courses are specifically designed for adults who may have left school without formal qualifications or who are seeking a fresh start. Our Pre-Access and Access to Higher Education Diplomas equip you with the knowledge, study skills and recognised qualification required for university entry. Education is open to all, and we encourage applications from mature learners ready to take the next step.
